EOS Matrix Serbia continuously improves its information system, as well as the information security management system. The Company has officially confirmed its quality in the domain of IT security through the ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 Certificate. “This is the crown of our diligent work in the previous years” , explains Milan Stojanović, IT Director of EOS Matrix Serbia.
In today’s world, most of the companies process data by means of implementing new technologies. Whether in the financial sector, marketing campaign or state institutions, generation and collection of relevant data is inevitable. Introduction of the above technologies and enhanced exchange of information impose the creation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). ISMS becomes the key element of a company’s success in the era of exponential growth of security attacks, where the damaged party suffers not only status-wise, but also financial consequences. Information related to the daily activities are certainly important, but in the near future we will also introduce GDPR i.e. regulation concerning the protection of private data. With these new obligations, ISMS is gaining more significance as it will have to cover much broader spectrum of information and their sources.
ISMS platform stands on three security pillars:
EOS Matrix has started the creation of IT documentation in 2009. The documentation was first created for internal use and IT personnel, but over the course of time it has grown to include the IT policy, procedures, specifications and records which were the fertile ground for the much desired certification.
Management has timely recognized the need for determining the level of risk and defining goals, while the experts in the field of information telecommunications have prepared the methodology. Previously defined policies and procedures were revised and ISMS created as a spontaneous continuation of successful data protection.
In addition to technical measures, detailed documentation and regular checking, EOS Matris Serbia seriously understands the need to educate employees, which is reflected in the fact that one of the defined goals of ISMS is organizing the workshops on the topic of information security.
